The short version: Matilda helps you practise. It doesn’t get you a job, and it isn’t the company you rehearse for.
Who we are
Matilda is run by Filipp Vyshkov, a sole proprietor registered in Israel. Contact: admin@pebble.ink.
You must be at least 18 to use Matilda.
What the service is
Matilda runs practice interviews by voice for real job postings and gives you a debrief afterwards. The interviewer is an AI playing someone from the team, speaking with an AI voice. Companies whose jobs appear here are not involved and don’t see your interviews.
No guarantees
Debriefs, scores and suggested answers are opinions generated by software. They can be wrong. Use them as practice notes, not as advice you must follow. We don’t promise any hiring outcome.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give accurate information about yourself, and upload only a CV you have the right to use.
- You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard.
Credits and plans
Interviews use credits. One minute of interview costs 10 credits, debrief included, rounded up to the whole minute. A model answer during a call costs 3 credits. Calls under 90 seconds, or with fewer than three answers from you, get no debrief and cost nothing.
- Free: 200 credits a month, about 20 interview minutes. Free credits are topped up to 200 on the first day of each month and don’t add up.
- Plus, $15 a month: 1,500 credits a month, about 150 minutes.
- Pro, $50 a month: 6,000 credits a month, about 600 minutes.
Paid credits are added when each monthly payment goes through and expire at the end of that billing period. Unused free credits are kept when you first upgrade. Prices are in US dollars; sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to your purchase.
Subscriptions renew every month until you cancel. Cancel any time from the dashboard (Manage subscription); you keep the plan and its credits until the end of the period you paid for. Moving to a higher plan takes effect at once and you pay the prorated difference; moving to a lower plan applies from the next period. Refunds are described in the refund policy.
Fair use
Don’t try to break or overload the service, get around limits, scrape it, or use it to harass anyone. We may limit or close accounts that do.
Your content
Your CV, recordings and transcripts stay yours. You allow us to store and process them to run your interviews and debriefs, as described in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll say so on the site before it applies. A price change for an existing subscription applies from the next period after we tell you by email.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Haifa have jurisdiction. This doesn’t take away rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
